The Sirena Superyachts 42M was launched in Turkey in July, marking the debut of Sirena Superyachts’ new steel and aluminium range. At 42.2 metres, the flagship is the largest yacht built by Sirena Marine to date, combining Van Oossanen Naval Architects’ Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) with an integrated Hull Vane®.

Following her launch, the Sirena 42M made her global debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2026. The yacht was also recognised with the Best Exterior Design award at the 2026 World Yachts Trophies.

Designed around hydrodynamics

At the heart of the Sirena 42M is the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF), developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects. The hull form is designed to combine efficient displacement performance with the substantial volume expected of a large, long-range superyacht.

The hull is complemented by a Hull Vane®, a fixed passive stern hydrofoil designed to interact with the vessel’s stern-wave system. By recovering part of the energy in the stern wave and converting it into forward thrust, the Hull Vane® reduces hydrodynamic resistance and contributes to improved stability and comfort underway.

Together, the two technologies form an integrated hydrodynamic concept. The FDHF governs the flow around the hull, while the Hull Vane® works with the stern-wave system at the aft end. Both were considered in relation to the yacht’s hull form, speed range and operating profile.

Making room for life at sea

At approximately 433 GT, the Sirena 42M offers substantial interior and exterior volume for a yacht designed for extended periods at sea.

The generous proportions are reflected in the layout, with spacious living areas, extensive outdoor spaces and a large beach club. The exterior and layout were developed by Luca Vallebona, with interior design by Hot Lab and engineering by Eureka Yachts.

For a yacht of this size, balancing volume with cruising efficiency is an important part of the design. The 42M brings these requirements together with a hydrodynamic concept developed around its dimensions, speed range and long-range operating profile.

A new chapter for Sirena

With its combination of substantial volume, long-range capability and a hydrodynamic concept developed from the outset, the Sirena 42M sets the tone for this new generation of larger Sirena yachts.
